DECEMBER’S FULL MOON ENVIRONMENTAL DETOX RITUAL

&

12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS MEDITATION!

Yoga Sutra 1.28

taj japas tad artha bhavanam (Sanskrit)

Its repetition and the reflection on its meaning, the Mind becomes one-pointed.

Namaste Parvati,

December’s Full Moon arrives at 12:12 a.m. on Thursday, December 12. The Full Moon not only illuminates the night sky, it also illuminates our emotions and feelings. Whatever has been the most active on your mind, will come full frontal in your face during the Full Moon period, which can last for three days.

This December’s Full Moon has brought me into deep inquiry of my shadow self, this is when I am in doubt, feel anxious, or not loved. While dwelling in the shadows, the light is blocked. During these times, I’ve been observing and acknowledging that I feel seperated from my Creator. BUT instead of moving into old, unhealthy ways of dealing with these darker emotions, I’ve intentionally been pausing, and then with curiousity, I enter into these emotions and ask my guides, angels or Goddess/God to see things differently.

Choosing to sit and look at our self value, our value to family and to community, requires us to sit with where we feel we have failed, or have shown up at times not completly ‘on’, and possibly, just possibly letting others see all of us.

This process of inviting curiousity instead of judgement eventually transforms into a HUGE release of self judgement. And, if someone has done me wrong or made mistakes, well then …releasing judgement there too. Who is perfect? Who has not made a mistake?

Uh oh….Santa is below and he’s checking his list to see who’s been naughty or nice!

The practice of yoga offers many ways to move through shadow aspects. One of those ways is with a magical meditation practice called japa which is Sanskrit for repetition. In the book of Yoga Sutras, which is a yogic study guide over 1000 years old, it speaks of the importance of the japa meditative practice:

Yoga Sutra 1.28

taj japas tad artha bhavanam (Sanskrit)

Its repetition and the reflection on its meaning, the Mind becomes one-pointed.

Japas meditation is the most effective way to learn about ourselves. As human beings, we are always trying to study our inner essence with self reflection. Japa meditation helps us to experience ourselves at a deep level. If the shadow self is making it difficult to see our light, japa clears the way so that the light can reflect on us to find our inner essence. During japa meditation, we surrender to our Goddess/God and offer all that we do to the one pointedness of the highest good.

To assist with keeping STRONG, CALM & PEACEFUL this holiday season, I am offering 12 Days of Christmas Meditation complimentary on Facebook Live beginning this Saturday, December 14 at 6:00 a.m.!

Here comes the Full Moon Environmental Detox Ritual:

Having an enviroment that is free of toxicty, allows us to focus purely on our work, which is to restrain the modifications of the mindstuff so that we are shining our brilliant essence of light.

The past few weeks, I’ve been focusing on environmental detox. I began with evaluating the books I read, shows I watch, music I listen to, podcast, websites, Facebook groups and my time on social media.

This past week, the environmental detox moved into my office. At first, I spent a few hours going through old files, reorganizing and cleaning. Then I invited my husband to join me. He loves everything to be neat and tidy, so he was just “chomping at the bit” to help.

With his assistance, I rearranged and cleaned out what looked like a ton of stuff in my office. Within one day of this clean-up, I enrolled two new mentoring clients. By removing old, stagnant, unnecessary items, I opened up space for new to arrive.

You can tap into the magic of this December’s Full Moon and get ready for 2020, with an Environmental Detox Challenge/Ritual.

Environmental and self-preservation detoxing correlates to the realm of our root/muladhara chakra. Preserving the best sense of ourselves and the spaces we reside in allow deeper levels of rooting, grounding and balanced energy to evolve.
