New Moon Blessings!
Abandon the idea of your badness and
open to your BAD-ASS SELF!’
Today is actually 7 weeks, from being thrown from a horse that I had absolutely no idea how to handle.
I knew in a millisecond when I asked the horse, ironically named “Victoria” for a trot and it took off forcefully in a speed that I’ve never experienced before, that something horribly, life altering was happening.
Truth is, I almost died.
Instead I was blessed with living with a broken leg, two breaks in one hand, brain hemorrhage, a concussion and a long, healing journey. Hallelujah!
Although, I’ve been riding a horse for almost two years. I’ve only trotted in a small circle with a trainer present. When this horse took off in a gallop, handling her was above my riding experience level.
“Experience is a hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson afterward.”
Life gives us Lessons that we are not prepared for but, that is our opportunity to use our tools and to find new tools, that help us dig deeper into inner power and Divinity/God/Goddess, whatever, you call Source.
Tools, tools, tools…we need tools.
My tools are meditation, breathing practices, nature, chakra healing, my husband, family, nurturing friendships, healthy food, healthy mind, massage, honoring my truth, focusing on love, lots of yoga and my callings.
These past seven weeks have been an opportunity to take myself deeper into my work as an intuitive healer, empowerment mentor and a spiritual warrior.
During these seven weeks on the path of healing from trauma, I dug up all my tools and have spent time with practices for each chakra. Usually, I focus on one to two chakras at a time. But since, all my chakras were in tender need of healing, this was a new work in progress for me and still is.
Our most challenging experiences give us the reigns to
ABANDON THE IDEA OF BADNESS AND OPEN TO
OUR BAD-ASS SELF!
Recently two incredibly, beautiful strong woman that I work with used the analogy of buckets in regards to their emotions. One person said they just were experiencing buckets and buckets of sadness and another one said buckets of sorrow. So, I shared that I’ve also been in the buckets of tears, sadness and grief recently.
Even though I realize all of the blessings that I have, it’s still important to honor the sadness WHILE consciously living in the ‘feeling’ state that we trust that the Universe has our back. And believe there’s a bigger plan that is unfolding in perfect timing. Sadness, sorrow, grief, pain, this TOO IS LIFE.
But, back to BUCKETS. I couldn’t stop thinking about buckets. As an empowerment mentor, I hold people accountable and responsible for fulfilling their bucket lists. But in order to do that, they have to get the confidence to conquer the fear that’s held them back.
In life coaching, there’s a technique called “filling the 7 buckets”. In my work in Sacred Empowerment Mentoring, we focus on the 7 major chakras. So, I took the bucket analogy and applied it to the 7 chakras. I’ve been applying this method with myself first, by looking at a desire in each chakra and then, filling the 7 buckets!
CONSCIOUSLY FILLING UP 7 BUCKETS!
Bucket 1) Dig up the fear of your desire
Bucket 2) Release the emotions attached to the fear
Bucket 3) Gain strength
Bucket 4) Accept yourself.
Bucket 5) Communicate
Bucket 6) Dream & Witness
Bucket 7) Spiritual Connection
We have many stored emotions which are lodged in our cells and DNA that make their way into dis-ease of the body, if not processed emotionally in a healthy way.
When we let out emotions from our chakras through tears of sadness or sorrow, it’s released, then we move through fear and accomplish dreams!
How do you want to fill up your buckets?
Just as we can feel a new season approaching in the weather, there’s a new season approaching in us too. If you’re feeling ready to fill up some buckets and accomplish dreams, then this new moon is a powerful time to proceed.
I created a New Moon Bucket Ritual for
Accomplishing Dreams with the Roman Goddess Venus, the goddess of desires, beauty, love, the sea and agriculture!
This New Moon Ritual with Goddess Venus focuses on your desires! In Indian mythology, creativity comes from desire. The Sanskrit word, vanas, means to wish or desire. Without desire, there is no creativity! Accept your desires! They come from the creator!
